Our Story
David & Renee Thompson have been owner/operators of McPhersons Parts & Service in Parkes since 2012. In 2018 they purchased Forbes and Cowra Machinery Centres. This was closely followed by Temora Truck & Tractor and Gallaghers Machinery (now known as West Wyalong Machinery Centre). In 2020 David & Renee purchased South West Tractors in Young – closing boundary lines to unify locations for enhanced New Holland brand recognition and agricultural industry expansion within Central NSW.
David has been in the farm machinery industry for 27 years and Renee for 11 years. Renee also has 22 years of experience in finance and banking. Together they seized the opportunity to acquire the new branches and expand the company.
